PURCHASE LEGALITY
Photo ID for age verification is required for customers purchasing antique weapons, edged weapons, bayonets and related items. A copy of your photo driving licence, Passport or other official photo ID showing your date of birth is ideal. Emailing I.D. to ‘AuthenticAntiqueArms@protonmail.com’ will help to speed up the despatch of your order. This is due to the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 which came into force on 16 May 2019. Authentic Antique Arms will only Require this ID from you once.
Customers are advised that you must by law be 18 years of age or older to purchase any swords, knives and bayonets (edged weapons) from this website. It is an offence for anyone under the age of 18 years to buy any of these items.
Firearms Act 1968, Section 58 clearly states that weapons listed as ‘obsolete’ may be purchased without a license but customers are advised that you must by law be 18 years of age or older to purchase any antique/vintage/obsolete guns from this website.
Customers, who purchase any antique/vintage/obsolete firearms, cannot be a Prohibited Person under Section 21 of the 1968 Firearms Act.
By placing an order you are declaring that you are of legal age to do so, that you are not a Prohibited Person and that you accept the conditions of Sale.
The antique weapons for sale on the Authentic Antique Arms website are for collectable and decorative purposes only. Authentic Antique Arms cannot be held responsible for the misuse of these items once purchased.
All items offered for sale are legal and without licence requirement in the UK.

SHIPPING AND CANCELLATION
All calculated postage and packing rates stated upon checkout are for Mainland UK only. P&P rates differ outside of the Mainland UK. If you live abroad or in Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man or the Scottish Hebrides please inquire before purchasing via email.
Shipping for North America & Mainland European countries are a flat rate of £70. Any extra costs will be invoiced to the customer before despatch.
Please allow for 7-14 days for delivery within the UK mainland. This may take considerably longer if an item is to be shipped abroad.
We may not be able to ship any antique guns, ordnance, swords, knives and bayonets (edged weapons) outside of the UK, though if you live abroad and wish to purchase something you may still enquire about it via email.
Customers not in the UK are responsible for checking their own countries’ law regarding items purchased. Authentic Antique Arms has no control on overseas Customs once items have been despatched and cannot be held responsible for any items stopped or seized by local authorities. Once the item has left the UK Authentic Antique Arms cannot be held responsible for postal problems. Tracking numbers will be provided on despatch where possible.
If a customer wishes to cancel an item they must do so before despatch.
If you wish to return an item you must do so within 14 days of delivery and simply return it to us in the same condition as it was despatched and once returned you will be refunded.
Refunds are for items only, not the postage and packaging. It is also your responsibility to pay for postage if an item is to be returned.
Authentic Antique Arms’ decision on any disputes is final.
