Description

This cross was issued during the 2nd world war and could be awarded to military personnel and civilians alike.

This award was created by Adolf Hitler in October 1939 as a successor to the non-combatant Iron Cross which was used in earlier wars.

This one would have been awarded to a soldier for exceptional service and is in a fine condition with just the odd sign of grime, age and wear one can expect after so many years. The ring is stamped with the makers mark “34”.
