Description

A nice example of an army officers dagger from WWII Germany.

It boats bright aluminium hilt fittings that are well detailed, as is the the embellished pommel, crossguard and quillon surfaces are finely detailed.
The orange coloured grip is not without wear or chips but is still in overall good condition.

The scabbard exhibits moderate surface wear, with but a few dents and a deep toning. The scabbard throat is retained by two side mounted screws. This dagger is uncleaned and retains many of its original qualities.

The makers mark is present and shows us that this blade was made by paul weyersberg.

The blade itself does show signs of wear and minor grime but once again is in overall good condition.

Surely this blade would look splendid on display!
