Description
This is the French M1893 2nd Model Mannlicher Berthier bayonet.
The blade would have been used during The Great War and is overall in terrific condition, besides the odd dent and patch of rust one could expect considering it’s age. A nice sturdy blade that still retains a shine to it and a notch on both sides near to the crossguard which locks the bayonet in the scabbard with a click. Clear stamping can be seen on the quillon.
Undoubtedly a fine addition to any collection of blades or perhaps an accompanying rifle.
