Description
Some fine examples of military artifacts from early to mid imperial Rome.
This small collection includes an iron military spur of which would have been used by cavalry units, 2 military brooches and 3 bronze coins.
The spur is still quite well intact, as are the brooches. Out of the 3 coins there are 2 smaller ones, with somewhat visible Latin inscriptions and well preserved patterns and 1 larger bronze coin in a slightly lesser condition but still well preserved when the age of these relics is considered.
These artifacts were discovered during a historical excavation which took place in the county of Norfolk in 1975 and would make a superb addition to any enthusiasts collection.
