This here is an absolutely beautiful artefact of history! A fully intact ring from roughly 1500 years ago!
This Byzantine ring is from around the years 400AD-600AD and is made of bronze.
The ring crafted entirely from bronze and features a round hoop that smoothly transitions into a flat section.
The elongated bezel of the ring is adorned with a stunning engraving of an angel.
The angel is depicted wearing a flowing tunic and crowned with an aureole. The angel faces the left, and holds a processional cross in their left hand.
Truly a remarkable piece of history which as can be seen from the images has been well preserved!
This would go brilliantly in any historical collection!
