An absolutely stunning piece of British history here!

This beautiful blade is the British Pattern 1897 Infantry Officers Sword from the Victorian era and is in terrific condition.

The scabbard is of brass and is entirely intact. The single type blade retains many of it’s original qualities along with a marvelous shine!
Broad acid etched engraving & patterns along the blade are still clearly visible.

Bronze pierced hilt with VRI and Crown and a copper wire bound shagreen grip. Marked as made by Cooke and Kelvey, Calcutta.

Truly a spectacular blade with so much history! This would undoubtedly make an excellent addition to any enthusiast collection and would look so very fine on display!
