British Naval Dress Sword
Out of stock
A stunning blade to be sure!
This is the basic Regulation Pattern 1834 and besides some expected wear due to its age, is in great condition.
Despite showing its age a little with the odd scuff, patch of grime and discolouring, the sword still retains many good qualities. The shine has not yet faded from this fine blade.
The hilt is solid brass and boasts a Gothic design with a proud lion at its end, accompanied by an anchor etched into the brass beneath it. The blade is that of a straight single edge and is covered by a brass mounted black leather scabbard.
Would undoubtedly look terrific mounted on someones wall or on display in any other way.
