Description
Here we have an absolute splendid and rare piece!
Made of solid silver, this is a drachm coin minted by the fabled and historically famous Alexander the Great (336-323 BC).
On the obverse of the coin you can see the head of Herakles wearing lion-skin head-dress.
Whereas on the reverse you can see a depiction of Zeus enthroned holding eagle and sceptre.
The coin is in very fine condition and still even to this day after over 2000 years it still retains a great shine and tremendous quality!
Surely a superb addition to any collection of coins or historical artefacts.
