Description
A stunning example of a Belgian pinfire revolver from the year 1865.
This pistol features a 6 shot cylinder for 7mm rounds.
Belgian proof marked along with numerous other stampings. This Revolver appears to have been made by Lefaucheux.
The cylinder and frame engraved with chequered pattern with dots, ejector rod, folding trigger and chequered walnut grips.
The trigger is a folding type and the barrel is an 85mm octagonal one with “E Lefaucheux Invr Breveté” stamped at the breech.
The barrel silver inlaid in script “Dufour, Buenos Ayres” (Liege proved).
The condition is absolutely fine with all parts functioning perfectly in full working order.
Certainly a lovely revolver that would look just terrific on display!
