Description

Here we have a lovely example of a double barrel traveling pistol from around the 1780s.

This pistol was made in London and has been signed “CONTESSE AUX PONTS” on the side panels of it’s boxlock action, of which have also been florally engraved.

The top-jaws and screws have unfortunately been lost to history but the rest of the pistol is well intact.

The pistol features sliding individual safety catches behind each cock and a solid walnut grip.

All in all a really great piece that would look beautiful on display by itself or as part of a collection!
