54 Bore Boxlock Percussion Pistol (Spencer)

Description
A fantastic example of an early 1800’s Boxlock pistol.
At .54 bore and in absolutely stunning condition, this pistol is just superb to look at! However even though the mechanism functions, the snap of the lock is not quite as effective at it should be. This has been reflected on the price.
All is solid with the frame gun and the mechanism is mostly functioning smoothly.
Only minor dinks and scuffs are to be found across the body.
As for the origins of manufacturing the stamps are nice and sharply clear. This pistol was made around the 1820’s by Spencer of London in England.
A nice little pistol that would look stunning on some lucky collectors display!
